Better Performance Through Science
Build a Strong Foundation
Our VO2 test will allow you to train with heart rate zones that are based on your current level of fitness. Through proper heart rate training, you will make the most out of each workout and be sure that you're developing an aerobic base while doing so.

The Dangers of Going Too Hard
Your anaerobic system was not designed to provide energy for long periods of time. If you spend most of your time in this "red zone", you are doing more harm than good. From hypertension to glucose intolerance, the dangers are to fierce to ignore.

FAQ's About VO2 Testing
1. Can I use a formula, HR monitor or track workout to find my zones?
Absolutely not. Just as your doctor doesn't guess to get your blood work, you can't guess to find your anaerobic threshold.
2. Why can't I lose weight while training for a marathon?
If you're anaerobic, you're NOT burning fat for fuel. Weight loss just won't happen unless you're spending time in your aerobic zones.
3. Are my numbers the same on the bike as they are while running? Nope. Biking you're sitting and therefore decreasing the amount of muscle being used. That equates to a lower heart rate for a similar exertion level. If you run and ride, you need to test both to be sure.
